Tamworth - Snake Gulley Cup, Gandagai, New South Wales

Tamworth is also recognised as the ‘National Equine Capital of Australia’ because of the high volume of equine events held in the city and the construction of the World Class National Equine and Livestock Events Centre. I was lucky enough to attend the annual Snake Gully Cup at Gandagai. It was full to capacity and there were only two black people in the whole stadium. That made me feel important some how. This picture was used for the sport page at The Canberra Times.
