Masi Losi, South Africa

'Chief Mandla'
King Buyelekhaya Dalidyebo of the Abathembu Kingdom in South Africa declaring Mandla Mandela a chief. The Mandela throne was returned after being taken away by the colonialists about 90 years ago. The Mandela family fought for years to have their chieftaincy returned to them and Nelson Mandela's grandson was made the chief.

'Celtics'
This was the original manner with which a soccer team celebrated scoring a goal. Bloemfontein Celtics were told that the odds were stacked against them when playing Gentle IF from Sweden. They caused upset by beating the team in two matches proving the skeptics wrong.

'Matric results'
These girls woke up around 3 am to look for a newspaper that had their end-of -the-year results. They found a newspaper around 5 am and they could not hold their excitement when they realised they had passed their matric. Now they could go on to obtain a tertiary education.
