Atlantic Ocean Islands
The tiny ocean outposts of the Atlantic Ocean are as much part of the Commonwealth are their larger continental cousins, and in media terms, are both diverse and vibrant. Whereas Bermuda has one of the oldest and most respected newspapers in the Commonwealth in the Royal Gazette, the 20th century invention of the internet has enabled the remotest Southern Atlantic dependencies to be united via the web presence of the South Atlantic Remote Territories Media Association (SARTMA).
